The Faithful Servants Care Center provides free urgent health care services with a Christ-like compassion for those without insurance and the economic means to access traditional medical care. The Care Center is staffed by professional, licensed clinicians.
League of Women Voters of Tallmadge
The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
SUSA highly emphasizes the importance of teaching proper soccer skills, sportsmanship, teamwork, respect, and having fun. Not connected with club and travel soccer programs, SUSA’s purpose is not to develop elite players or teams. SUSA, with pride, still believes in one goal – “SOCCER FOR EVERYONE!”
The Tallmadge Foundation was established in 2000 to provide support for educational, recreational, and cultural enrichment opportunities that enhance the quality of life experiences for the community of Tallmadge and its citizens.
Tallmadge Good Neighbors is one of seven units in Summit County. We assist Tallmadge residents with food and clothing. We have special programs for Easter, Back to School, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Tallmadge Historical Society
The Tallmadge Historical Society was established March 24, 1858, in the Old Town Hall located at the southwest corner of the Circle and South Avenue. That was the organizational meeting of what is now the oldest historical society in the State of Ohio.
The Tallmadge Lions Club is probably best known for Tallmadge Lions Park, which is on land the club purchased, improved and donated to the city in 1966. The club is actually the oldest continuous service club in existence in the City of Tallmadge, having been chartered in 1938.
The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster: the development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service, high ethical standards of business and professions, the application of the ideal of service to personal, business and community life and the advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace through a world of fellowship of business and professional men and women united in the ideal of service.
Tallmadge Primetimers
The Purpose of the Tallmadge Primetimers is to provide recreation and fellowship for men and women of Tallmadge and others over the age of 50. Meetings, including programs and business sessions, are scheduled for the third (3rd) Tuesday of each month, except when such date falls on a holiday or when the Executive Committee deems it advisable to change the day or place of the meeting. TUSC is a charter member of the Summit Soccer Cooperative, a joint venture soccer program consisting of Tallmadge United Soccer Club, Cuyahoga Falls Soccer Club, Stow Soccer Club and Everest Soccer Club. The SSC's mission is to improve soccer opportunities for all players regardless of level by sharing resources and promoting a clear unified direction for our players. Tallmadge Youth Football belongs to the Buckeye Youth Football Conference. Per the BYFC rules, football players must either live within the city of Tallmadge, or attend the Tallmadge City Schools.
