Gas & Electric Aggregation Services
The city strives to provide its citizens with a low and stable price for their natural gas and electric aggregation services. With other options available, such as those offers you receive in the mail, we understand that it can be confusing. Essentially, while the city program cannot "guarantee" you the lowest cost, it does provide you with a choice that offers a known cost in advance, and a guarantee that it will not increase. Ultimately, the choice of who you choose as your natural gas or electric supplier remains yours.
Electric Aggregation
The City of Tallmadge has contracted with Energy Harbor (formerly known as First Energy Solutions) for electric aggregation.
The rate for the 3-year term of June 2021 through May 2024 is 4.96 cents/KWh with no early termination fee.

Gas Aggregation
All residents and small businesses in the Tallmadge Natural Gas Aggregation Program supplied by Constellation Energy have the first five months, beginning in December 2021, at a variable rate at the Dominion Standard Service Offer minus $.08/McF. After that, the rate will be fixed at $3.73 Mcf through October 2024.
Enrolling & Opting Out
If you are not enrolled, you may "opt in" at any time by calling Constellation at 844-809-6838. Be aware that if you are in contract with another gas supplier you may be subject to an early cancellation fee. You should check before you switch.
If you are currently a member of the Tallmadge aggregation you will automatically roll into the new contract price and will only need to "opt out" if you wish to discontinue.
There is no early cancellation fee and you may enroll at any time.

Anyone wishing to research prices of either gas or electric aggregation for themselves can access a resource at the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio's Apples to Apples website.
