1. What is the electric aggregation rate?

A new fixed rate of 4.96 cents per KWh went into effect on June 1, 2021 through May 2024.

2. What is the gas aggregation rate?

All residents and small businesses in the Tallmadge Natural Gas Aggregation Program supplied by Constellation Energy have the first five months, beginning in December 2021, at a variable rate at the Dominion Standard Service Offer minus $.08/McF. After that, the rate will be fixed at $3.73 Mcf through October 2024.

3. Who is our trash hauler?

Kimble Recycling & Disposal, Inc. provides trash service for the city of Tallmadge.

Contact them at 1-800-201-0005 to start or stop service and to obtain trash and recycle containers.

4. When does Kimble pickup in my neighborhood?

Kimble picks up trash and recyclables Monday - Thursday, and they will notify you of your pick up day when you sign up for service.

Pick up is delayed one day after these holidays: - New Year’s Day - Martin Luther King Day - Memorial Day - 4th of July  - Labor Day - Thanksgiving - Christmas

5. Does the City of Tallmadge remove dead animals?

If a dead animal is on private property, it is the responsibility of the property owner to remove it.

If the dead animal is in the road or on City property, you can call the Street Department at 330-633-5130 or you can Submit a Request.

6. Where can I drop off my brush, tree limbs or Christmas tree?

The City of Tallmadge does not accept brush, tree limbs and other debris. We can however offer you the following regional drop-off locations for various debris. The City of Tallmadge does not endorse nor guarantee the services of these companies and solely offers this information as a convenience to its citizens.

7. Are there coyotes in Tallmadge?

Yes, coyotes are common in Ohio, both in rural and urban settings. It is important to remove "attractants" from yards to deter coyotes from returning to the yard. If there is a further issue with a coyote after removing attractants, you can locate the nearest trapper by calling the Division of Wildlife at 1-800-WILDLIFE (945-3543).
